Richtgraad 1

Met de opleiding Richtgraad 1 worden je het basisniveau Breakthrough en het overlevingsniveau Waystage van de taal aangeleerd. Na de opleiding Breakthrough kun je vertrouwde, alledaagse en zeer eenvoudige zinnen gebruiken, gericht op de bevrediging van je concrete behoeften. Na de opleiding Waystage kan je op een eenvoudig niveau communiceren op voorwaarde dat je gesprekspartner langzaam en duidelijk spreekt en bereid is je te helpen. Je kan zinnen en courante uitdrukkingen m.b.t. voor jou onmiddellijk relevante domeinen begrijpen. Je leert ook communiceren in eenvoudige routinetaken die gericht zijn op een eenvoudige en directe uitwisseling van informatie over voor jou vertrouwde en routineuze onderwerpen. Bovendien kan je in eenvoudige bewoordingen informatie geven over je directe omgeving en onderwerpen die voor jou van direct persoonlijk belang zijn.

The program 'Objective 1' teaches you the language basics and the language skills necessary to survive. In the level descriptions of the European Framework for Languages, these levels equal 'Breakthrough' and 'Waystage'. Once you have completed 'Breakthrough', you will be able to use familiar, day-to-day and very simple sentences that will satisfy your material needs. After 'Waystage', you will be able to communicate on a simple level, provided your communication partner speaks slowly and clearly, and is prepared to help. You will be able to understand sentences and common expressions relative to aspects of life that are relevant to you. You also learn to communicate during routine tasks that are geared to a simple and direct exchange of information about subjects you are familiar with. Moreover, you will be able to transmit, in simple terms, information about the immediate context and about subjects that matter to you personally.
